Clark University News Release (April 22, 2013):
Professor Ya-chen Chen's student, Franklin Eneh, competed with students from Harvard University and other research universities in the same state and won second place in the state-wide and cross-campus "Chinese Bridge" Chinese speech contest on March 26, 2013.
  • Students' Creation of Cartoon about a Han-Dyansty Musical Poem and Chinese Proverbs
  •  Students' Creation of Chinese New Year Cards
  •  Chinese-Language Diary, TV, News, Cartoon, Newspapers and Radio
  •  Students learned about the popular Tang-Dynasty poetic genre, classical Chinese rhymes, and the overall history of classical Chinese, including pre-modern Chinese, medieval Chinese, etc.
  • Students' Chinese-Language Birthday Cards
Students practiced Chinese-language story-telling and composition. The stories came from true incidents in real everyday life in order to help students' Chinese-language practice become closer and closer to the real world contact.
