- The Chinese Language Program's Dumplings & Wontons DIY and Potluck Party on January 25, 2012
- Special Participants: CSSA (Chinese Scholars and Students Association) and Professor Nancy Araneo's "Advanced Reading of English" class at the American Language and Cultural Institute in COPACE (College of Professional and Continuing Education)
On April 1, 2013, the Chinese Language Program held one more DIY party. Students learned to hand-make dim sum, wontons, and dumplings. Students also enjoyed fried rice.
